I think I might be entering my puzzle phase in life.
I picked up a few on the weekend at the second hand store and also a few new ones.
Then I also ordered this one last week - I like how it's kind of color blocks, I thought it would be fun to do.
It arrived today and its only 500 pieces so I won't spend a whole night working on it when I start it.
I likely will do it this weekend.
I had the Glass place in town pick up my car this morning to fill in the chips we got over the weekend and when the brought it back to me, one of them had already taken off so I now have a big crack on my windshield - such a bummer.
I haven't even had the car for two months yet so it really sucks.
We could take it and get a new windshield but it almost feels like what's the point?
It will just get cracked again.
I had to drive to Slave Lake this afternoon for a WCSS meeting.
I wasn't sure why we bothered to have it in person but at the end of the meeting, the Chairman, Chris, told us all that he is retiring at the end of May and this will be his last meeting.
I'm happy for him but it's also sad - he's very passionate about WCSS so we will definitely miss him on the Coop and he was just a nice, friendly guy who I enjoyed chatting with.
He plans on keeping busy fishing, hunting, shooting and spending time with his grandbaby and I really wish him all the best.
I stopped in at Walmart to grab a few things before heading home, I got there just after 6.
I didn't have time to do a run at lunch before I left so I had A LOT of steps to get in.
I went down and hopped on my trusty treadmill - I didn't feel like running so I just walked and took me over an hour to get all my steps in but I did it.
Even though I was only walking, I was sweating when I was done.
As I was finishing up, Kody called to say Freya wanted to come over so Haylee dropped her off.
She's getting to the age where she wants to play with friends and was quite upset with me when I wouldn't call to see if her friend Dakota could come over.
I didn't have his mom's number though plus it was after 7 and it is a school night so I promised I'd get in touch with her and make a plan for a play date on the weekend.
She eventually agreed and then when Jason got home from work, they went downstairs and played (which is something she loves to do) so she was all good and happy again.
It was after 9 when I got her out the door to take her home.
She would have spent the night if I let her but we have to work in the morning so we couldn't do that.
I'm sure she'll have a sleepover on the weekend.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
