I'm down so that's a good way to start the day.

When I got home for lunch, My Honey had the oven all ready to go and was cooking pizzas.

Best chef in the world right there.

He tweaked his dough recipe yet again and I don't know how such little changes can make such a big difference but they do.

This is hands down the best crust he has made yet - I ate FOUR slices for lunch and I wanted more!

Paddingtong doesn't look impressed here but he actually seems to really like being bundled up in blankets.

See he is relaxing now and getting into it.

If you wrap him up or cover him up in the blanket he just stays there, doesn't budge.

J & B got the furniture all ready to take over to our retiree.

I really like both pieces.

We put a little plaque on each piece thanking her for her years of service and I think it was a perfect gift.

 

After work we all headed to the Casino for supper.

 

There were quite a few of us there.

I was pleased with the turn out.

 

It's hard to get a picture of the whole table.

I passed my camera down so I could get pictures of everyone.

Our old boss Ms RH was even able to make it.

She just recently sold her farm/acreage and purchased a new smaller place closer to her daughter.

Tonight will be her first night in her new home - so exciting!

This is our big boss at the office, Mr.B and his wife.

He is the kindest, most pleasant human, his wife is super nice too.

There are Miss B & Mr J.

 

After we ate, we tried our luck at the slots.

My Honey did well.

A few others with us won too.

The retiree herself pocketed around 300.00 and so did Miss SV.

So all in all, it was a successful night.

 

There was a Halloween party going on back home.

Miss H was looking cute.

I love it when people get dressed up.

There is a Halloween dance here in town every year and people really get into it and come up with super creative costumes.

Now that I don't go anymore, I always look forward to seeing the costume pictures showing up on Facebook.

 

This memory popped up from a few years back when I did go.

My Honey & I went as nerds - we had matching costumes and I thought they were the best.

This is me with my friend Miss DS.

We had a great time that night but I think it was the last time that I've been to the Halloween party.

 

We left the casino around 9 pm and headed home.

It's close to an hour drive so it was near 10 pm when we got home.

 

We basically headed straight to bed because we were both heading to the city early in the morning.

We are going to see a movie and it's been awhile for me so I am excited.

 

That covers it for today.
