Sassy G's Adventure Farm (Sept.13, 2026)

Freya spend the night last night but Eden had wanted to go home with Kody.

He had to work early this morning though so he dropped her off at 7 am.
She was still sleepy.

It didn't take her long to perk up though.

We spent the morning just hanging out, visiting with Jen.
I have to head to Calgary today and I had planned on leaving a little later today but I did get my stuff packed up so I'd be ready whenever.

Crystal called to say that she was taking Zepplyn to an adventure farm in the city and she wondered if the girls wanted to go with her.

They did and Jason and I decided we'd go to.
It was along the way for me so I could hang out with everyone then Jason and the girls could drive back with Crystal and I could carry on to Calgary.

Eden ended up going there with Crystal and Freya drove with us.

We'd never been to this one before, it was called Sassy G's Adventure Farm.

We remembered to bring the wagon along and it came in handy.

Before we got there, they had checked out some of the animals.

And Eden became an animal too.

We found Crystal and the girls right away.

There was a big sandbox area and Eden was digging right in.

Playing in the sandbox.

They also had little tractors, bouncy pony things and these rocking chickens.

Riding the rocking chicken.

Faster, faster, faster.
They tried out this old fashioned merry go round but it made me nervous.

They had a couple of these big bouncy pillow things.

Eden was having a hard time climbing onto it.

There was another one that seemed to be more taut - Freya was able to make it up that one but she was being bounced around.

Freya was having fun.

There was a spot where you could race ducks.

So Zepplyn and Freya raced.

There were several stations so several people could be doing it at the same time.

Duck racing.

Crystal helped Eden have a turn, mostly she just wanted to throw ducks in the water.

They had this cow milking station set up.

It was so cool.

There were actual udders underneath and a bucket of water inside so you could actually milk it.

At the end, she moved her little stool and got right underneath the cow.

Having a little break.

Crystal tried to get some nice pictures of her blowing the dandelions but instead she was Hulk smashing them.

Trying out the obstacle course.

She liked it so much she did it twice.

Took her a minute to figure out this section but she did it.

The big girls did it a few times also as did Jason.

They had these cool skill games, you had to use these ropes to guide a golf ball to the opening.

They had a few designs - Freya tried this one and she did it!

We spent some time blowing some bubbles, that's always fun.

Then everyone played at the park.

Sign on the way out.

Then it was time to go.

We went to the Cheesecake Cafe for some dinner together before they headed home and I headed off to Calgary.

Eden got into one of her destructo moods for a few minutes.

She goes a little wild for sure.

But it was over quickly and she's so dang cute that it's hard not to laugh.

Eden chose the strawberry lemonade cheesecake.
I think she only had 1 bite  - Jason and I tried it too and it was really good.
Freya got a slice of plain cheesecake with strawberries on top and Jason and I got the coconut slice.
It was all good.
The food there is good too.

After supper, they all loaded up into Crystal's car and headed back to the hills.
I stopped and got some gas then headed to Calgary.
It was near 11 pm when I got there, I was so tired.

I checked into my hotel room.
I'm staying at the Sheraton downtown, it's a really nice hotel.
I had a view of the front and all the trees are lit up out there.
It looks nice.

I texted Jason to let him know that I had made it then immediately went to bed.

It wouldn't have taken much to reach my 12,000 steps but I was too tired to even try.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
