We walked over to the Starbucks near our hotel so I could get myself a teat.
The lavender foam is back at Starbucks and I am stoked!
An iced matcha latte with lavender foam is my favorite delicious treat!
Jason noticed a Mexican bakery nearby so we stopped there to check it out.
They had lots of lovely looking things.
We picked an assortment of things to try.
Including slice of Tres Leches cake.
Unfortunately, they looked far better than they tasted.
We went to Palm Desert again and did a 5k walk in the University park again.
Then we went to JC's Cafe on El Paseo Drive for brunch.
It had really good reviews.
My Honey.
Jason had a breakfast burrito.
I had a salad but it didn't really hit the spot for me.
Afterwards we did some shopping.
They have a night market in Palm Spring on Thursday nights that we wanted to check out, plus I wanted to see the famous Marilyn Monroe statue so we headed over there.
We found her.
We came up behind her so we got to sneak a peak at her under things.
There she is.
So realistic, even her feet were reddened near the straps of her shoes just like they would be if they were real.
The vendors were starting to set up.
We walked along and checked out the shops.
Happened upon another Marilyn.
We came across an ice cream store so of course had to have one.
Mine
Jason's.
We sat and enjoyed our treats.
While watching the vendors set up.
While searching for the public washrooms, we happened upon this cool statue.
The lights on the palm trees look so nice.
Photo op prop.
Another.
We walked the whole market then looked for a place to have some supper.
Sammy G's Tuscan Grill is the place we settled on.
There was no room for outdoor dining but plenty of room inside.
I liked the decor inside - it was nice.
The Ham & Peas Tortellini looked good to me so that's what I ordered.
Jason got the Eggplant.
I loved my dish - it was amazing!
There was live entertainment at the street market.
They were doing Bruno Mars songs, the singer even looked like Bruno Mars.
They did a really great job.
Got all my steps in again plus some.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy.
