I'm not sure if it was the medication or if I was just super tired but I had a great sleep last night.
I slept in late this morning too - it was wonderful.
I spent the morning putzing around, cleaning and tidying up.
It all takes much longer when you only have one hand to use.
The weather was nice today, sunshine and blue skies so Jen and the boys were able to come today.
The boys are here for their March break and it was Ethan's birthday on Mar.3 so we are having a birthday dinner for him tonight with the family.
Jason makes crispy chicken drumsticks and everyone likes them so he made those for supper and a tater tot casserole.
It was delicious!

Jennifer got Morgan to make Ethan a dragon cake and it looked amazing.
She did such a great job.
She made the dinosaur out of fondant.

I think he was pretty impressed by his cake.
Jen broke off a piece of candle and put it in the dragon's mouth to make it look like it was breathing fire but it just looked like it was smoking.
It kind of melted the dragon's face a little too.
Eden is all about birthdays and wanted to be right in there helping Ethan blow out his candles.
He was a good sport about it and let her.
Then we lit them several more times just to let her blow them out.
Not only did the cake look good but it tasted amazing as well.
It was moist and dense, just the way I like my cake.

Morgan and Kalem.
We were talking wedding planning with Morgan and Kalem today.
They are planning on getting married next summer - so exciting!

Jen let the kids demolish the dragon, Eden picked off all of his talons.
Freya flattened him.
Declan, Jen and Ethan.
They are getting so grown up!
Jason was in the washroom and he wasn't coming out fast enough for Eden's liking so she took matters into her own hands.
Funny she knew what to do.
Eden really took a liking to Ethan.
Freya really likes the boys too, I think the boys thought it was sweet.
After supper we played some games, Fullhouse and Drawful.
Freya also decorated my cast for me.
The girls spent the night with us tonight.
I wasn't sure how we'd manage in the bed with the four of us and my injury but we managed ok.
Morgan made a few other cakes recently that she posted pics of.

The little cow is adorable too.
She is so talented.
She wasn't doing it for awhile there, I'm glad she got back into it.
I managed to get all my steps in today without having to get on the treadmill at all.
