Kiddos and Presents (Jan.3, 2018)

I was feeling pretty tired this morning so no early morning work out for me.

261.4 lbs was my weigh in for today.

It was back to work today, nice to see everyone after the holidays.
Nice to go back on a Wednesday too, makes for a short week which is awesome.

So I didn't really make any new years resolutions this year.
They always seem to be the same thing anyway.

I do have a few goals that I want to work on though.

The first is that I want to get my debt paid down.
I don't really have a plan on how to do it but I want to at least be conscious of it and make an effort.

My other goal is to get some races in.
I want to run a couple of 5k's, maybe a couple of 10 k's and then a 1/2 marathon by the end of the year.

And that is it.

My brother had to work late so asked if I would watch the kiddos and of course I was happy too!

We hung out on the couch and took selfies.

Guess I'm the only one that got the memo about making silly faces!

It's not often that I can get him to sit still for pictures but he was taking it very seriously tonight.

They still had a few presents under the tree from my son and his girl so they came over to watch the kids open their gifts (don't know why I didn't take a picture of them).

There were a few presents under there for them from my niece (their sister) as well but I wouldn't let them open them until she could be there to watch.
Mr H was really trying to sneak some to open so I had to find something else to keep him occupied.

CANDY!!!

He loves candy so I let him pick a few treats to have.

Miss A was happy because I had minty chocolates which she loves!

I made them kraft dinner for supper but guess I should have waited until after they ate to give them treats because Mr H wouldn't touch it.
He didn't even have one bite.

He was super excited to see My Honey when he got home from work and there was no way I would have got him to sit and eat at that point.

I didn't worry about it too much, he isn't starving and what are aunties for if not to give treats instead of dinner?

Facebook Memory Time

These were from a trip to Vegas back in  January 2015.

We always try to stop at the Oyster Bar in Harrah's while we are there.

We both love oysters on the half shell.

My sister had come up for Christmas that year.
These are the boys at mom's - they are so cute.

Another meal in Vegas.
It was a burger from Guy Fieri's place there on the strip, this was My Honey's but I tried the burger and it was super good.

Had wings too which were hot and tasty.

We checked out the High Roller.
We found a groupon so it saved us a few bucks.

It goes up pretty high.
We lucked out because they can fit alot of folks in each of the pods but in ours there was only us and another couple.

We wanted to go at night because we thought a view of all the lights would be nice and we were right.

I just love all the lights - so pretty.

After we got off, we walked into the parking lot behind it to take this picture.

We also went to see Jabbawockeez.
They were dancers that had been on America's Got Talent.
We enjoyed the show.

My fitbit stats are pretty low today because I forgot to put it on.
I took it off to charge it then forgot about it.

I didn't do much today anyway so the totals would have been low (not this low) but low.

Ended up watching some GOT again so stayed up late.
Some exciting things are happening and after each episode ended I just had to watch the next one to see what happened.
We did eventually get to bed but I know I won't be getting up for an early morning work out tomorrow.

I will get back at it though, ABSOLUTELY!

That is all for today.
Until next time, be happy!
