Weigh In, Bike Ride and Marathon is Almost Here (Aug.15, 2022)

You know what Monday means - weigh in day!

I was 205.4 lbs.

That means I'm slowly creeping back up.

It is a gain of 1.4 lbs since last week which I'm sad to say, I earned.
Definitely will be getting back at it when we get back from Iceland.

As I decided not to run today to give my groin a rest, I went for a bike ride after work.
I only planned on doing 8k and only if it didn't bother my groin.
It didn't bother my groin at all so I went a bit further.
It was bothering my left knee a bit  - both knees have been hurting again but I'm attributing that to the weight I've put back on.

The exercise details.

The bike ride only burned 7 calories - hardly seems worth it.

I enjoyed it though - I've been so focused on running this summer that I've barely ridden my bike at all and I kind of missed it.
I'm going to try to focus on it a bit more when we get back - maybe even try biking to Whitecourt one day (76k).

After my bike ride, I stopped by Kody's.
I had purchased a pool a month or so ago and I told him he could have it.
He was setting it up and I wanted to go over and see how it was going.

His yard isn't level so he was having a hard time figuring out a spot to put the pool.
We decided to dig a hole and get my brother to bring a load of sand to put in it to level it out.
So I helped him mark it out and we got busy digging.

Then Jason reminded us that we needed to do an Alberta One Call to find out where the gas lines are - we didn't want to strike one so we stopped digging.

Freya, Zepplyn and Hunter were all there playing.
I was busy so I didn't really get any pictures but they were having a lot of fun together.

It was probably a good thing that we decided to leave the digging because it was tough and I'm supposed to be giving my body a rest.

When I got home, I gathered up all the laundry so I could do a few last minute loads before packing.
I'll pack tomorrow after work.
I also cut out some diamonds on my Cricut for Morgan - she needs them for decorations at a bridal shower that she is going to.

I found the plug converters we'd gotten for a trip to London as they have European shaped plug outlets in Iceland and I also got our passports out so we wouldn't forget them.
I can't believe our trip is almost here and the marathon is only days away.

Ha ha - I think I'm fairly easy to get along with most times but I still thought this was funny.

This isn't really my vocabulary but again, I just thought it was really funny.
It made me think of my co-worker, Shennelle.
She doesn't swear like this, I just thought she would appreciate the humour of it.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
