Swimming, Trampoline Park and Ramen (Oct.18, 2026)

We went for a swim again this morning and this time I joined in as well.

Eden loves the water.

She's brave too, just like Freya was when she was little.
They have no fear at all and want to step right into the deep end not understanding that they don't know how to swim.

She was jumping off the edge into my arms - she kept motioning for me to move back so I'd be further away from her.

Freya loves the pool still too, I guess we all do.

There was a craft fair/market in Fort Saskatchewan so we went to that.
It was a nice one, lots of local vendors with handmade items which I really like.

This one lady had hand decorated cookies - they were amazing.

Eden wanted the Sally one so I bought it for her.
Just look at the details on it.

She was wanting to touch everything so I took her to a bench outside the market and she had a few bites of her cookie.
Honestly they don't really taste the best but they look fantastic.

The kids wanted to go to a trampoline park so we went to one over on the south side of Edmonton.

They had this funky color slide that looked really cool.

This was really hard - I don't think I could have gone as far as Freya did.

Merry-go-round with Papa.

They were going sooooo fast.

Eden wanted a turn.

She was just sitting back like it was no big deal.

Chill as a cucumber that one.

The faster the better as far as these girls were concerned.

She really wanted to go on this horsie and it was full so she sat patiently nearby and waited for it to be free then she hopped right up there.

It went rather slowly compared to the merry-go-round but she didn't mind.

Loving the horsie.

They played some games in the arcade.

Freya enjoyed this motorbike one.

Eden was being funny walking back to the car.
Making the cross with her arms so nobody could pass.

We stayed there for a couple of hours then next up was Hu's Noodle Nook for some ramen.

Jason and I both had the Tan Tan - it is so delicious.
This is the best I've had anywhere.

I had wanted to do a little shopping but by this time I was ready to go home so we skipped it and just went on home.

We dropped the girls off at their place then when we got back to the house, I did some unpacking then just sat and enjoyed being home.

It's back to work for both of us tomorrow.
I have an appointment in Whitecourt tomorrow as well so I can pick up what we need for groceries.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
