More Pool and Shopping and Taste of Persia (Nov.9, 2024)

As soon as we got up this morning Freya wanted to go swimming so back to the pool we went.

She and Jason played in the big pool.

I watched from the hot tub again.

They did come and join me.

Freya prefers the pool but she did hang out in the hot tub for a bit.

Testing out the gym equipment.

We stopped at the mall so I could get a few things - we got her a Stitch outfit which she insisted on changing into immediately.

She also wanted fake nails so I got her some and we sat in the food court and I put them on for her.

Playing in the big whale at the mall.

Posing at the mall.

Jason found this - sounds about right.

Before we left the city we stopped for a meal at Taste of Persia

I had

Morassa Polo

مرصع پلو- قیمه نثار

Stewed top sirloin mixed with diamond cut almond and pistachios cooked in a homemade sauce. Topped with rice, diamond cut almond and pistachios, saffron, and barberries.

It's what I had last time and I love it.

This was a bean soup - very good.

This is what Jason had

Ghormeh Sabzi

قورمه سبزی

A traditional stew with chunks of top sirloin , assorted vegetables, dried lemon, and kidney beans.

Served with rice and saffron.

Then we shared the saffron rice pudding for dessert - it was a little more floral than I'd normally chose but it was growing on me as I was eating it.

Waiting for our food to arrive.
She found another Stitch hoodie and well, we caved and bought her that too.

We had gotten Freya a boba drink before we left the mall - she kind of forgot about it and Jason and I drank it.
Then when we were in Spruce Grove, she noticed that we drank it and had a conniption - so we found a place near us and stopped to get her another.

We dropped her off at home when we made it back to Swan Hills and she immediately had to change into her Stitch pj's we got her in the city (she wore them last night too, she just loves them)
We just can't help ourselves.

We got to have a little visit with Eden - she's feeding the baby.

So serious.

Our happy little girl.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
