I was up super early this morning so I was back downstairs and managed to get some more gifts wrapped before we got company.
Kody was heading to the city to do some shopping so he dropped the girls off to us.
Surprise Surprise - she wanted noodles as soon as she arrived.
She wanted snacks too and she likes Goldfish.
The bag is almost as big as her arm.
It's hard not to post every dang picture we take of her because she is just so darn cute.

We are having our friends over tonight for a Christmas get together that we do every year that normally just involves a bunch of food.
We used to do a gift exchange with each other as well but we stopped doing that.
Jason had a few more things to finish up in the kitchen and I got busy cleaning.
I put the new couch covers on that I got last year.
I had wanted to put them on for this get together last year which ended up getting cancelled last minute because Bonnie was really sick so I decided to wait to put them on and just never got around to it until now.
Everyone was coming around 5:30 and we were ready to go.
I forgot to take pictures when everything was first ready to go because our guests were arriving but here is some of the stuff Jason cooked up after we'd gotten into it.
He normally makes jalapeno poppers but couldn't find enough jalapenos this year so he just got a couple and made it as a dip and that was a big hit.
He made mini pop tarts filled with bacon and blue cheese and those were a hit too.

Everything was delicious and we ate our faces off.

Crystal did stop by at 6 on her way home from work in Barrhead to pick up the girls but by then we'd already gotten everything ready so Jason said to just leave them and she had been invited to a sleigh ride in town so she did leave the girls with us.
We had a nice evening just sitting around visiting and eating.
I always think I should plan more like games or something but then we always end up having a nice time.
Haylee and Kody did both get there just after 8 when everyone was getting ready to head out.
They packed up some snacks to take with them and took Eden home but Freya wanted to stay.
After everyone went home, Freya wanted to go for a walk so we did.

It was a little chillier out than we first thought so it wasn't a very long walk but getting out into the air was refreshing.
