House Cleaning and New Rug (Nov.17, 2024)

It's Sunday and Jason is working and he always makes them lunch on Sundays.

Today he made them pizza and it looks delicious.

Freya spent the night again so she and I had a quiet morning of snuggling which was nice.

Then I decided to start prepping for Christmas decorating.
I always take all my 'regular' stuff down and replace it with all Christmas because I have so much.
I recently re-arranged everything on this wall and I love how it looks so I took a picture - that way when I go to put it all back up, I'll have a reference for how it goes.

I got everything taken down and put away then I started in on cleaning.
The new rug I ordered came in so I rolled up the old one and threw it outside then Freya helped me put down the new one.
It's quite thin so not very cushy on the feet but I do really like how it looks.

My little helper today.

It took me most of the day to do it and it felt good when it was done.
My plan is to decorate next weekend - I'll start hauling the stuff up over the course of the week.

I do have a few things you'll notice.
None of the angels that I made sold at the craft fair so I brought the red one home for myself.
I was surprised - I thought they'd sell right away but I'm not mad about it because I do really like them.

The other two are at the hardware - if they don't sell, I'll give them away for gifts - in fact that's my plan for all the left over stuff.

I am not sure if I'll do the craft show again next year, it was a lot of work.
If I didn't have a full time job already then maybe.

I also don't like the feeling of having people look at my stuff and then not buy - I worry that they don't like it or that it's too expensive.

It's kind of stressful actually and I'm not sure if I really enjoy that - I'm no salesperson I'll tell you that.

I won't stop making stuff though - I LOVE crafting so it might just be that my friends and family will just end up getting lots of things from me going forward.

Anyway, that is all for today, until next time, be happy!
