Another beauty of a day here in Vegas.
We both wore our new Nikes when we went out this morning.
We had a rental car booked for two days, we were picking it up this morning.
We took the Monorail down to the MGM then we got off and had to walk almost an hour to get to the rental spot.
There was an issue with the rental - we did it through Expedia but it wasn't showing up on the car rentals spot properly so it ended up being a big cluster and took forever to get resolved but eventually it did and we were on our way with a car.
We were hungry and had seen this spot on a few vlogs so we put it in the GPS and headed there.
Truffles n Bacon.
What a cute sign!
The restaurant was a good size.
They had Spam fries so of course we had to try them.
Jason had a breakfast sandwich with chicken and bacon.
I ordered the Ube Pancakes and they were very good.
Since we had the car, we went and did some shopping - bought the girls each an outfit and stopped in to Hobby Lobby.
I bought a bunch of fabric and some greenery and berries, they had a new champagne colored kind that are really pretty.
I also searched for my purse that I want but I had no luck.
Then we went to Durango - we wanted to have some pizza.
They have a Prince St Pizza there in there food court.
We got a slice of pepperoni and then a vodka slice.
They were just as delicious as always.
Then we had concretes from Nielsens - Jason went with an orange one and I got pecans, skor bits and chocolate syrup - they were fantastic.
Jason found some tank tops for a really great deal when we were in Vernon and he's been wearing them.
They are great for this heat and he actually likes them.
He's trying to work on killing the farmer tan.
The Durango has a really nice food court.
We walked around and gambled a little - didn't win anything.
We decided to go see the new Deadpool movie - found a theater near where we were and headed there.
Got there just in time to get some popcorn and find out seats.
This giant 'charm' was outside the theater.
The theatre happened to be inside the Orleans casino so after the movie (which was great by the way) we walked around and checked out the casino as we'd never been in it before.
It's all decorated in a New Orleans kind of theme.
These giant crocodiles or alligators coming out of the bar were cool looking.
The door handle.
The outside of it.
It was a neat looking casino.
We gambled a tiny bit but both lost (and quickly) so we didn't stick around long.
