Noodlehead, Eataly, FlyOver Chicago, Aria Foodcourt, Bellagio Conservatory and Fountains (Aug.31, 2024)

Jason decided to head outside for a run today and I went to the hotel gym and got a run in as well.

I ran 5k

Here are the stats.

It felt good to get a run in and after the run I did a few dumbbell swings before heading back to the room for a shower.

Then we went to this noodle spot that Jason had seen and has been wanting to try.
Noodlehead.

I had the Dan Dan Noodles.

They had a robotic waiter who brought our food out to us.

My noodles were fantastic.
I would go back and eat here anytime.

I can't remember the name of the dish that Jason had but it was super spicy - he really like it too.

Then we shared mango and sesame seed mochi for dessert.

Then we took the vehicle back to the Strat to park it then hopped on the monorail and took it all the way to the last stop at MGM.
We figured we'd spend the rest of the day just walking back to the Strat and checking things out along the way.

We went to Eataly over at Park MGM.

We tried some sandwiches there.

They were expensive but they were big so kind of worth it.
They were good.

Then we went to FlyOver.
There is a new show there, FlyOver Chicago.
We love seeing these shows, they are always so fun and this show was no exception - it was one of the best ones we've seen actually.

We watch Norma Geli who is a YouTuber that vlogs about Vegas all the time, she does 24 hours at different hotels and always brings her friend Lydia along so we've kind of gotten to know her and her husband who also shows up on the vlog every now and then and he was working at FlyOver so that was kind of neat.

We stopped into Ross and Marshalls - I got an outfit for Zepplyn for her birthday and also looked for my purse to no avail.

It was such a gorgeous evening - the weather has been amazing since we've been here - 41 C every day and pretty much all day and night.

We are loving it.

We love just wandering on the strip and checking things out, there is always so much to see.

Weird statue.

We popped into the food court in Aria and I got a burger at Lola's Burgers which Norma Geli says is her favorite.

We also got a slice of pizza from pizzaoki - we tried it before and it is also good.

The burger was a smash type burger - I could have skipped the cheese honestly but it was good.

The pizza - it was just a slice with only cheese - I do enjoy the cheese on pizza.

My Honey and I.

He was being goofy and making all kinds of funny faces.

There was this spooky display with these bird cages and vulture skeletons.

Other animal skeletons too.

I liked it.

This giant sculpture built from canoes was behind Aria - We'd never been back there before so this was our first time seeing it.

We stopped in at the Conservatory at the Bellagio to check that out.

It was just as beautiful as ever.

This painting made out of flowers was cool.

As you can see it was a hot air balloon theme.

This is the little area that actually has a table in it from the restaurant next door and you can reserve it and eat there.

There was a couple in there eating - that would kind of feel like being in a fish bowl.

I think this is the restaurant - looks fancy.

The set ups they do in here are just amazing.

It was so crowded though, people were everywhere.

Giant butterflys.

I like the tree.

Fountain.

More giant flowers.

They just go all out.

Another hot air balloon.

More giant flowers.

They are so amazing.

Another hot air balloon.

This is a flower arrangement in the lobby - they always have such beautiful arrangements.

The glass flower ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio is so gorgeous.

These casinos are all so beautiful.

As we were passing the fountains, I noticed that there was smoke coming out as part of the show - I've never seen that before.

It looked so awesome.

We watched the fountains.

The view of the Eiffel Tower in the background looks great.

The fountains seemed to be going off like every 10 minutes or so.

We watched them until the finished from the top of the fountains.

Then by the time we got down to the bottom, they were going off again.

I don't think I've ever seen them go off that often but it was great.
I never get tired of watching them.

Everything is so pretty here.

Look at this indoor restaurant, isn't it amazing?

Back home, Freya was having a girls night and going to her first concert, Pink.
Cousins - Freya, Zepplyn and Emily.

Emily, Kim (Crystal's sister), Haylee, Freya and Crystal.

Zepplyn's birthday is coming up so they celebrated early while they were all together.

It was a really ladies night, Haylee, her grandmother, her mom and her two aunts and the girls.

They took the LRT over to the concert venue.

Ready for the show.

I'm so glad they all get together and do things like this.

Mom was getting out and doing stuff too.
My cousin Chavonne took her from PEI back to Jennifer's in NS and they did some touring around Easter Passage - checked out the stores at the boardwalk.

Bella and Jennifer enjoying some ice cream.

Not a good day for Bella, ha ha.

I'm embarrassed to say that this is something that I do often.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
