We had tickets to go see a show in the city tonight - Come From Away - so I left work a bit early and we headed into the city.
We did a bit of shopping then we met Bonnie, Nadine and their hubbies at Red Lobster for supper.
June has never eaten there before so he wanted to try it.

After supper we headed over to Jubliee Auditorium.
Jason and I had seen this show before in NYC and we really enjoyed it so we were up for seeing it again.
It was the first time for everyone else though - I think their first time seeing a live musical at all.
The show was good - it was different actors then when we'd seen it prior and I wasn't very impressed with the lady that played the pilot (her singing was kind of hard to listen to) but aside from that, everything else was wonderful.
After the show, we all met up at the casino in the mall.
I lost all of my money immediately which is no fun at all and I decided that I'm done gambling for awhile.
I don't mind if losing if I at least get to play for a bit and am kind of up and down but lately there's been no up, just all down and that just isn't enjoyable at all.
So we didn't stick around the casino long after that, just headed back to our room.
We were a little hungry so we walked over to a pizza place around the corner (we were staying at The Coast) and got a couple slices to take back to our room.
It was heavy and it was just ok - it did the trick but I don't think we'll get it again.
