Girls for the Day and Crafting (Sept.8, 2024)

It's Sunday so Jason is making lunch for the guys at work today.

He sent me a picture of the grape salad he made for them.
He brought some home for me and it was the best grape salad I've ever eaten.

Meanwhile, Freya had spend the night.
When we got up, she made me this wonderful breakfast platter.
Yum!

Haylee was going to a music festival and Kody is working so I'm going to keep the girls for the day until he gets home.
It was nice out so I took the girls out for a walk.

Then we got in lots of snuggles.
Freya was keeping herself busy watching YouTube videos and playing.
She was happy when Papa got home, he had her undivided attention.

She loves taking off my glasses.

Awww, look at that sweet little smile.

OMG - the expression on her face is priceless.
It cracks me up every time I see it.

She is just so expressive.

Papa found some glasses for her to play with.

Ha ha - little scholar.

It was late when Kody got home from work and picked up the girls, well actually just Eden, Freya spent the night with us.

Jason kept her busy playing and I was able to finish up a few things that I've been working on.

I was thinking of making clay noses for them but I didn't have enough clay so I made fabric ones instead but I'm glad now because I think I prefer this look.

This one was the only one that ended up with a clay nose - it looks cute but I prefer the fabric noses.

I got the noses sewn on to a couple more reindeer.

I have one more snowman to finish up.

Then I got these stockings sewn and stuffed - all that's left on them now is the fun part - embellishing!

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
