First Aid Recert and Summer is Back (Sept.24, 2024)

I had to go to a First Aid recertification course in Whitecourt today.

It started at 8 am so I had to leave the house at 7 am in order to get there on time.

 

We had a half hour for lunch and I'd brought lunch with me and it was gorgeous out so I decided to go for a little walk while I was eating.

The instructor was a nice girl but she was a terrible instructor.

I was glad when the course was over.

I ran a few errands afterwards then I went to Rotary Park to go for a walk (I'd planned on a run but just wasn't feeling up to that).

The trees are dressed in all of their fall colors and they are looking stunning.

Especially against that blue blue sky - so pretty.

It was a lovely day for a walk around the park.

I even saw a tree with some red leaves.

The reflections of the trees on the water though - love it.

The water was nice and calm so it looked extra pretty.

I just have a thing for pretty trees and here is another.

Even the parking lot was looking pretty with the rows of yellow trees.

After my walk, I headed back home and got right to work on crafting.

I was able to get two more trees out of the blanket I'd bought.

Then I also made a candy cane - I do like how it turned out so I think I'll make another.

I'm just about out of stuffing though, I'll need to pick some more of that up when we go to the city this weekend.

Jason starts days off tomorrow so he promised Freya she could spend the night.

She didn't forget and after he got home from work, she was calling to see if she could still come so he went and picked her up and I just stayed home and got some work done on my blog.

I've been putting it off, wondering why I still take the time to do it but I'm not quite ready to give it up yet, I like being able to go back and see what I was up to this day or that day.

I've been focusing a lot on trying to make crafts for the craft sale so I've been putting off the blog but I think I'm going to plan to make at least one craft each day then also make sure I set aside time for the blog each day as well.
