Loving the February Weather this Year (Feb.4, 2026)

It was nice out today and I had a massage booked after work so I didn't want to run and get all sweaty.

Instead, I decided to go out for a walk.

Everything is melting so walking is a little difficult, there is either sheer ice covered in water so it's super slick, or there are gigantic puddles that span the whole of the road so there is no way to get around them, you have to just walk through.

My feet were soaked when I got home.

Crystal ended up calling me in the afternoon to move my appointment to next week because she is really sick.

I hope she feels better soon!

Haylee asked if I could watch the girls after work, she had to work.

Freya had dance from 4 to 5.

As soon as she got home, she wanted me to make her noodles.

Eden wanted some too.

After Eden finished eating, she decided she wanted a nap so prepared beds for herself and Papa in the living room.

I love her little voice.

Freya had her little friend Theia over for a visit.

I had a Mission Possible meeting at 7 and I still needed some steps so I decided to walk over there.

It was a gorgeous evening out, very mild.

Still very wet and icy and I stepped right into a huge puddle so my feet were soaked for the whole meeting but I survived.

Walked back home too - Kody was there to pick up the girls when I got there so I didn't get to spend any time with them.

They had lots of fun with Jason though.

Got my steps in again.
