Mani/Pedi Day (Feb.7, 2026)

I woke up early and after coffee and a little visit with Jen, I headed into St Albert to do some shopping.
I hit up Costco, Homesense and the Dollar Store.

Then Jen met me at a nail place in St Albert so we could get pedicures.

They have these giant chairs and they give you slippers when you come in.
They even had a tiara you could put on if you wanted to.

Lots of good picture props.

I ended up getting a manicure too - I got what they call chrome.
It's really shiny, almost like a mirror.
I like it.
I picked a pale pink color for my toes too.

They do a combo head shampoo/massage/facial that looks divine so in a couple weeks, Jen and I are going to come back and have that done.

Rob brought Mom in and met us at Socrates for lunch.
Mom and I.

Jen and Rob.

Jen took a selfie of the four of us.

Jennifer ordered a spinach dip.

Rob ordered us steak and potato bites.
I ordered a quesadilla for my meal.
It was really good but it was a lot, I ended up taking half of it home.

Rob and Jen both headed home from there and Mom and I stopped in at Walmart for a few things before heading home as well.

Meanwhile - Jason had the girls over for the night last night.
He sent me this picture and Eden looked like she was coming off an all night bender.

I drew her on a bikini and sent it back for him to show her.
She thought it was funny.

I was cleaning out the hutch and found this donut maker Jason had picked up at a second hand store.

He decided to give it a try this morning and made the girls donuts.

Frying them up.

They look so golden brown.

He made them sugar coated and let the girls taste them.

Freya really liked them.

Eden had a bath.
She loves those whale toys.

He sliced up some cucumber for some cucumber salad.

I can't wait to have some when I go home.

Freya taking selfies.

Peace!!!

When I got home, I had to hop on the treadmill to get the rest of my steps in.

I only walked but I got it done.

The girls spent the night again with us.
I'm glad - I love having them.

My beautiful girl - she's growing up so much.

Freya and I.

Got all of my steps in.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
