It is still snowing!!!!
We have gotten so much snow over the past few days, it's ridiculous.
I was trying to rush around at lunch to get a bunch of stuff done so by the time I got home, I didn't have time to hop on the treadmill.
I had a meeting to get back to so I couldn't be late.
That didn't stop me from getting my car good and stuck in the snow right in front of my next door neighbour's house on my way back to work.
I could NOT get out.
I called Kody to see if he could come and push me out.
He said he could but Haylee was just out with the car for a few minutes so I had to wait a bit.
Luckily, my neighbour Chase (who also happens to be a co-worker) saw me out there (he's a neighbour as well).
He came over and towed me out.
He said there would have been no way Kody would have been able to push me out so I'm very grateful that he happened by.
After work, I stopped over at Nadine's to help her out with some crafts that she is working on.
I thought it would be a quick stop but I ended up being there over an hour and a half.
She is making decorations for the 50+ club in town.
She had a few things she wanted me to help spruce up.
I love doing this type of thing but I did have a lot of things that I needed to do at home so I couldn't help with everything that she wanted but we made a good dent.
Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the stuff after we zhuzhed it up.
Nadine sent me a picture later though.
I put the flowers on the middle one and she did the rest.
When I got home, I hopped on the treadmill right away to get that out of the way.
I didn't feel like running a this point so I just walked.
Kody brought the girls over for a visit while I was on the treadmill.
They were playing downstairs.
Eden's new thing she enjoys playing is cops and robbers.
I love how she says it, it is so cute.
She also says 'you rest' which means 'your are under arrest' - I was trying to get her to say it so I could video it but of course as soon as I took the camera out, that was a no go.
I did capture her saying cops & robbers though.
It took me just over 40 minutes to get my steps all in then I had a bunch of stuff I needed to get done since we will be heading to the city tomorrow.
I got the laundry finished and put away.
I did some cleaning.
I did NOT get to packing like I'd hoped but I can do that tomorrow before I head to the city.
Freya wanted to stay the night and I would have loved to let her but I really had a lot of things I still needed to do.
Also, she doesn't have school tomorrow so I didn't want to have to wake her up early to take her home when she could enjoy a nice sleep in.
She was saying it's not fair and I asked her why, she said, 'because you get to live here'.
Ha ha - what a kid.
She eventually relented and went home without a big to do when Kody promised she could play her Oculus for a bit before bed time.
I'm glad, I hate it when Kody has to drag them home kicking and screaming, I always feel so bad.
It was pretty late by then though and I was super tired so we just called it a night and I'll finish up the rest of the things that I need to do tomorrow.
Got all my steps in.
