First day of BC vacation - bring it on!
Freya wanted to sleep with us of course, we only had a double bed and she took it over.
The back deck of our VRBO looks over a golf course and has a gorgeous view of the mountains.
Not a bad spot to enjoy my morning coffee.
This is looking over at the condos that were next door.
They all kind of look the same.
Freya and Mommy ready for the day.
Just one more of our view from the balcony/deck.
We were blessed with absolutely gorgeous weather so decided to head to the beach today.
Testing out the water.
Didn't take long for them to hop in in there.
This is the beach we stayed right by last year but the weather was so terrible that we didn't have a chance to make use of the beach at all.
Beach days are the best.
After supper, we took the girls for a little walk.
We were doing a treasure hunt and collecting little nature items - Freya thought that was great.
We just happened upon this little series of pools of water coming down the cliff.
I think it was a mountain spring or a creek or something, not entirely sure.
Testing the water.
Then she went in a bit further.
It was such a gorgeous spot and the water was warm and this beautiful pale blue color.
Freya was just loving it, it was like the perfect depth for her.
It almost looked like someone had set up these rocks in different sections along this creek that was running down the hill to create these pool areas.
I never get tired of the mountain views.
Life is good.
Summer vibes.
Went for an after supper walk and happened upon this gorgeous spot.
Found a little mountain spring.
They were just going to dip their toes in.
She absolutely loved it.
She was having so much fun, it wasn't long before Jason joined her.
I love her look of pure joy.
This was only steps away from our place too so I'm sure we'll be visiting lots while we are here.
Crystal and Zepplyn.
Zepplyn didn't want to get in at first but it wasn't long before she changed her mind.
The place we were staying in was jut behind Crystal there.
Crystal and I both just sat and dipped our feet, neither of us jumped right in.
Just look how nice and clear the water was.
Freya was loving it and would have stayed there all night if we'd let her.
This was looking up where the water was coming from.
Looking over towards the condos we were staying in.
Looking down where the water was going.
Playing around in the water.
Time to head back.
She always wants to be up on Papa's shoulders.
Mountain selfie.
Back to our VRBO - we were right at the end one.
Stunning sunset from our deck.
Coloring in the living room.
The only tv in the place was down in the basement so we didn't watch any tv the whole time we were there.
Just another sunset view from the deck.
Look at that sky!
Papa found a mask somewhere so he decided to scare the girls.
They weren't a bit scared, they just thought it was funny.
It did keep them entertained for a bit though.
A cute one of Freya, Haylee and Zepplyn.
Just a few laughs for today.
😆😆😆😆
What a great idea!
Never thought of it before but Charlie is 100% right!
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
