Well we are off for another vacation today!
We have a VRBO booked in Fairmont, BC for the next week and I'm so excited.
We packed up the car and hit the road first thing in the morning.
Freya had spend the night so she came with us.
Kody had to go to Slave Lake today to write is exam for his Picker ticket which means he and Haylee won't be getting on the road until much later today.
The scenery on the drive is so gorgeous - it's breath-taking every single time you see it, never gets old.
Hard to capture it in a picture, especially one that you snap from a car as you are driving by.
The mountains are so majestic.
Saw a few mountain goats on the side of the road.
This one posed very nicely for a picture.
She was getting pretty antsy in her car seat so we stopped so she could get out and stretch her legs a bit.
She wanted to check out the water.
How lucky are we that this is practically in our back yard?
She played in the water a little while Jason and I took pictures.
It was good for her to have a little break from her car seat.

Jason got in the back with her to keep her company - she was getting pretty bored.

We got to our VRBO a bit later - it's close to an 8 hour drive from our place and we always make a few stops along the way which means it's even longer.
Randie, Crystal and Zepplyn were already there when we got there, they were about an hour ahead of us.
We unpacked everything into the place then kind of just hung out for the evening.
It was later when Kody and Haylee got there but not as late as I expected.
Would this really work?
