Fifty By 50: Tea Leaves and Tarot Cards (Apr.25, 2026)

Jason was up early and headed out for a run.

it was supposed to be a rest day for him because he had signed up to run a half marathon tomorrow but it got postponed until next weekend due to expected bad weather for this weekend.

When he got back, Crystal and I headed out.

Her appointment was at 1 and then mine was at 2.

We went to a spot called Clair-i-Tea downtown near the Farmer's Market.

We were early so we walked around the market together then she headed off to her appointment.

My belly was bugging me and I had to make several trips to the washroom so I ended up just sitting at a table by the washroom until it was time for my appointment.

I was getting my tea leaves read so I had some tea to drink first which kind of helped settle my stomach.

Along with having my tea leaves read, I also had my tarot cards read.

I thought it was fun.

i wish I'd recorded it because I forget most of what she said already.

Some of what I remember is that she saw lots of different animals in my cup:

rabbit

seagull

whale

There were more but I forget.

Some other things she told me in point form

- i love Christmas and do it really well, lots of decorations, a beautiful tree

- my favorite subject is math

- roman numeral 4, indicating I lived in Rome before (plus 4 is my favorite number)

- lots of travel to lots of places, Mexico, Europe, all the Hawaii Islands

- a promotion or change coming at work in the next few months

- I'm a witch, a good one, with psychic ability, i was a healer in a past life, from Scotland and my kitties are my familiars and were with me before in past lives

- Mom is going to live a long life as will I

- I don't let things fester, I get over them and let go

- I am getting better at letting things go

- i am compassionate

- I am observant about people's feelings

- water is healing for me

- she saw a sewing machine indicating sewing or craftiness

- she kept seeing a connection to the east

- she sees my dad spending a lot of time sitting looking at the water which he used to do everyday

She read my palm, said the partner I am with now is the one I will be with for the rest of my days and that we are a good partnership

She did a tarot reading for me and saw lots more travel

Then she did one for Jason and saw travel for him too.

Also us coming into money soon, maybe somewhere between Dec. and Mar.

Also Jason starting his own business or maybe even retiring in the next couple years.

She did a tarot spread for Kody too, said she saw him tired, climbing a mountain, all he wants is peace, no more drama and he's almost at the top of the mountain so he will have peace soon.

Also a big change coming for his relationship, possibly another baby or the end of the relationship.

She said she saw my dad with him too, walking with him, watching over him.

There was lots more but I can't remember right now what else she said.

I don't know how much I believe in all that kind of stuff but some of it can be comforting.
