Working From Home with My Little Assistant (May 14, 2026)

 I had to get the girls up and ready so it was a bit of a hectic morning.

Jason helped me which was great.

 I dropped Eden off to Crystal and Freya off to school.

Crystal has to work at 1 so I decided to work from home this afternoon.

I hooked Eden up with my phone and she sat on the couch with me watching videos while I worked.

It's a bit harder to work with only one screen when I'm used to having two of them at work and it's much smaller as well but I managed.

Eden was really good too - she tried to help me 'work' a few times but overall, she kept herself entertained.

She and I picked Freya up from school - I forgot that she had dance today so she missed that.

When we got home, Jason was there.

Freya played with Theia and Jason headed out for a run.

He took Eden with him and pushed her in the bike trailer.

He said she loved it.

Just watched videos on my phone and barely made a peep.

When they got back to the house, she sat out in the bike trailer for quite a long time just watching videos.

She loves it in there, it's like her own little cocoon.

She loves this little Paw Patrol outfit so much, she never wants to take it off.

Even wore it to bed.

She got Papa's chapstick - she calls it lipstick - and was putting it on - she took a few bites too just for good measure.

Both girls spent the night with us.

It's always a tight fit in the bed but I do love having them.

I'm thinking about going to see if I can get my cast off tomorrow - here's hoping.

Got all my steps.
