We had to leave our VRBO today so we spent the morning cleaning up and getting ready to go.
Eden wanted to wear her princess dress and she insisted Auntie brush her hair for her.
Zepplyn was feeling somewhat better today, still not 100%.
We went to a restaurant called Flame and Barrel and opted to sit outside on the patio.
The girls.
The Mother's Day crew.
I took 4 pictures and Jason's eyes are closed in every one.
My sissy and I.
Had to make sure I was in a picture to document that I was there too.
The coolest Dudette ever.
She has attitude!
I love it!
They have this little routine down pat.
They saw it on YouTube.
I had this strawberry salad that was really good.
Eden and Freya shared some pasta.
The food was all really good, I'd eat there again for sure.
We headed to the Telus Science Center to check out the dog exhibit they had there.
There was a play area for the little kids right when you walked in and Eden beelined right for it.
Eden got her vet coat on and went to work.
The stuffed dogs they had for the kids to play with were cute.
Taking such good care of the puppy.
Little vet.
Taking good care of the puppy.
There were these buttons you could press and they would emit dog smells.
You could vote for different things.
Eden casting her votes.
She found more puppies!
Wild child.
Looking through a lens to see the world through a dog's eyes.
Eden checking it out.
Must be pretty interesting.
Freya the dog trainer.
Eden the puppy.
Running so fast she lost a shoe.
You could hit a timer and run and see what breed of dogs you could run faster than.
After the dog exhibit, we checked out some other parts of the science center.
There was this wonky house.
Checking out the distorted mirrors.
She thought it was funny.
Wonky mirrors
Crazy mirrors at Telus Science Center
Making shadows.
Standing beside her own shadow.
She liked this room.
You'd pose against the wall and then the light would flash.
And you could step away and look back at your shadow - the imprint would stay on the wall for a minute or so.
I took them up to the toddler area.
They have a little play airplane.
Eden took the pilot's seat.
Pilot in the making.
Checking out the igloo.
I had a hard time getting her to go because she was enjoying herself so I had to bribe her with popcorn.
We got a container of it and went outside to sit and eat it.
She dropped some and the birds came and got it so that became a game.
I think she fed more of her popcorn to the birds than to herself.
We stopped in Stony Plain for ice cream.
Both the girls had fallen asleep so we just let them stay sleeping, got some ice creams then headed back to the hills.
Got all my steps in.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
