No weigh in again this week.
I'm kind of afraid to get on the scale.
I am for sure going to hop on next week though, no matter what.
It was back to work today.
I honestly could have used a couple more days off.
I was able to type two handed today so that was awesome!
My hand is still very weak and I don't have full mobility with my fingers plus I have the splint on but I do feel like I'm making progress.
Haylee texted to see if I could drive Freya to school - she didn't want to take the bus.
She was saying her belly hurt - I think she just didn't want to go to school.
So I asked her if something was bothering her at school - she said no.
I told her how important it is that she go to school, she did relent and say that she would go but made me promise to pick her up at the end of the day and let her come to my house.
I texted with Haylee just to make sure - if I make Freya a promise, I want to make sure I keep it.
I had planned on doing a run/walk on my lunch hour but first I thought I'd take care of renewing Mom's federal dental plan.
It was supposed to be easy, just log in and click on renew - Boom - done.
It ended up being a round about thing that took up my entire lunch hour.
It was so frustrating but at least I got it done.
I did pick Freya up after school and took her to my place.
She wanted to play with Theia but she couldn't come over today so she and I just hung out, I made her some noodles.
When Jason got home, he took her for a bike ride then Haylee wanted her home for 6 so Jason took her down there.
I made a kale salad for supper - I saw the recipe on Instagram.
I don't know what the actual amounts of things were, I just eyeballed it.
The ingredients list:
Kale
Cabbage
Green Onion
Serrano Peppers
Dry Roasted Peanuts
Thai Peanut Dressing
You chop the kale and cabbage up finely in a food processor then you add the chopped green onion and peppers.
I didn't have Serrano peppers and figured they might be a bit too spicy for me anyway so I subbed in red pepper.
I happed to have some snow peas so I chopped some up and added them and also added some finely chopped red onion.
I rough chopped some of the peanuts and added some whole ones too.
There was a recipe for the dressing but I just bought some Sesame Thai dressing and I did add a bit of sesame oil just to really punch up that flavor.
The salad was delicious - I think I could eat it for days.
I think some chicken and maybe even some chick peas might be a great addition.
After my supper, I had a nice long bath.
I can have my splint off in the bath and I will do exercises with my hand in there.
Then I spent the rest of the evening working on my blog - I've gotten a bit behind.
I did not take any pictures at all today.
I also did not get all my steps in but I made a good dent.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
