Weigh In Day and Booth ReStock (Feb.26, 2024)

It's Monday and you know what that means - weigh in day.

I weighed in at 207 lbs.

That's down 2.4 lbs since last week which is great.

I have this little owl in my office at work and looking at it this morning I thought it might be a cute thing to try to make.

Freya was doing some painting yesterday and I just saw a mess I had to clean up but Jason saw a masterpiece.
I think I have to try to remind myself to look at things from his point of view more often.

I printed this out in a larger size so I could possibly try to make it.

I also found a few more bunny patterns that I'm going to try out.

I like the floppy ears on this one.

One final one.

I did take my stuff down to the Hardware to put on my shelf.
Not sure how into Easter decor people are but we'll see.

I had to take some close up pictures so I'd remember how I priced them.

I had these at $10 first but that seemed a bit high so I changed them to $8.

I wonder if $8 is even too much?

I put the bunnies at $13.
They were a bit of work.

I think this one is my favorite.

Then this one I put at $12 even thought it was likely the most work out of all of these items.

I didn't want to make too much because I'm not sure how it will do but you know even if it doesn't sell, it's still a lot of fun to make.

I had curling tonight - we played two 4 end games and I kind of liked that.
We won one and lost one.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy!

Budding Makeup Artist and Tough Workout (Feb.25, 2024)

Freya and I had a sleep in this morning.

I wanted to get up early but she wanted me to stay in bed with her so how could I say no to extra cuddles with my girl.

Jason was cooking up a roast at work for the guys - it looks so yummy.

Freya wanted to do my makeup.

Don't I have a lovely glow?

Showing the makeup to the camera like a true youtuber.

She is the cutest makeup artist in all of the land if you ask me.

It kind of escalated a bit and she made me into an Avatar.

She did a pretty good job actually.

She gave me 'eyes' and the lips were a bit over the top but she had fun so that's what matters.

She did herself too - I think she's getting pretty good.

It washed off pretty good then after that we made some chocolate chip cookies - Mom had picked up a mix for her because she loves mucking around in the kitchen.

I tried going down and hopping on the treadmill to get my workout in.
I have to run 6.4k today.
I thought Freya could just sit there and entertain herself while I ran.
I ran about .7 of a mile then I had to stop and help her with something so I went to the washroom too nd she got on the treadmill while I was in there and accidentally pulled the emergency cord so everything reset back to zero.

I decided that I would just skip the workout for now because she was bored and I went back upstairs and we hung out.

She did my makeup again.
She gave me extra dark eyebrows.

A bit later she was winding down and I really wanted to get my workout done so we tried again.
She sat and watched YouTube videos and I hopped on the treadmill.

I struggled with the run today, I did the first half at 4.5 but then I had to put it down to 4.0.
I had to stop a few times, take a breath and then start again but I did eventually get it done.

Soooo happy to have that workout over with.

She was taking care of her baby while I finished up my run.

She's a good little Mama.

When we went back upstairs, I wanted to do some more crafting so I got this little flower made.

While I did that, she was doing some crafting of her own and she made this adorable spring reindeer.
I helped her cut the fabric to size but she did all the rest on her own.

Meanwhile Grandma Crystal was visiting with Eden and she posted some cute pictures.

She is so cute.

Love that little grin!

Around 7, Kody came over and picked Freya up - she was missing Mom and Dad and wanting to go home.

She is 4 months old today so Haylee posted this.

I love her little outfit.

Reading her sister a story - I love this picture.

Shoveling, Crafting and Visit With Our Girls. (Feb.24, 2024)

Woke up to some freshly fallen snow.

It blanketed everything.

It was pretty and it was sunny out so after I had my coffee, I went out and spend an hour shovelling.
I first only intended to do the walkway and the sideway but I ended up doing the whole driveway to.
I was sweating when I finished.

Nadine got there just as I was finishing up - she came over so I could cut a few stencils on the Cricut for her so I spent a bit of the afternoon doing that.

After she left, I got a few more things created.
This little house.

And another.

Then I made this welcome spring sign with bunny ears and I love how it turned out.

After supper, Kody asked if I could watch the kids for a bit while he did a few things and of course I said yes.

I walked around with Eden for a bit and she fell asleep almost immediately so I had her on the couch beside me so I could watch her.

She did sleep for a good while then when she woke up, she was content to just lay there for a bit and check things out.

But then she wanted to be up.
She likes being carried around like this so she can see everything.
I walked around with her like this for quite some time which was good because I needed steps and then Jason took over and walked her around for a bit too.

She noticed the tv and was watching it, Jason was walking her around but she was just glued to the tv.

Freya was watching her favorite YouTube channel - Life of Luxury - and there was a character in the particular episode that had been in a car accident so was all bandaged up and she wanted to get bandaged up just like her so Jason got the toilet paper out and this is what they came up with.

She thought it was just awesome.

Kody came back around 9 and picked up Eden and Freya ended up staying the night with us.

Book Recommendation and Crafting Bunnies (Feb.23, 2024)

We were discussing books this morning at work and Shennelle said she is currently reading this one and she highly recommended it so I think I'm going to order it.
I took a quick screenshot so I could remember - the book was The Women by Kristin Hannah.

My training schedule called for a 3.2k run today so I knocked that out on my lunch hour.

As always, feels great to have it completed.

I was looking for some more crafting ideas today because Jason is working this weekend and so I plan on making a few things.

These little lambies are adorable.

I like these bunnies.

I love the primitive style of crafting and this dbunny on the top left is really cute, I may try to make something similar.

I found a few bunny patterns on google that I liked and printed them out in two different sizes.
I like the crooked ear on this one.

This one is more straightforward so it should be easier to make.

When I got home from work it was straight to the craft room and to work.
I cut out one of each of the larger patterns out.
I tried to keep them simple so I just added a bow and a tag to each.

I did add a little pocket and carrots to this one.

I love how they turned out - simple and sweet.
