I woke up in the middle of the night just coughing and coughing, so hard that is was making me nearly vomit.
I had a terrible headache - I took some advil and then some cough medicine and that seemed to help me some.
I went back to bed and did manage to go back to sleep but when I woke up for work this morning, I felt just terrible.
I took some more medication then did go in to work because I had a couple of meetings that I didn't want to miss.
I thought maybe I'd go to the meetings then take the afternoon off to rest.
I started listening to a new book today, so far, so good.
I did attend both my meetings then it was time for lunch, I went home and had something to eat and a bit of a rest but then I felt ok so I went back to work.
I had a few things I wanted to get done ad thought I'd go home then but I ended up just staying for the rest of the day.
One of the guys in the office, Murray Butler, is turning 65 tomorrow so at the end of the day, Bonnie, Shennelle and I decorated his office.
We put up balloons and signs all over his desk, monitors and chair.
On the door, the filing cabinet.
The walls.
And the window.
I think it looks pretty good.
I was happy to finally go home at the end of the day.
Jason prepared chowder for me for supper.
So nice of him.
We had a chill evening, I didn't do much of anything.
The girls didn't come over either.
Just a quiet night.
