Trying to Get Back On Track (Jan.14, 2026)

I had a pretty rough sleep last night.
Not only did I not have much room but I think I'm getting sick.
Makes sense since the girls have been sick since last week and I've been around them a lot.

Jason had to go to Whitecourt today for drug testing for his new job (it the regular procedure they do for everyone) so he decided he would take the girls with him and make a day of it.

His appointment was at 1 and he was going to take the car so he had a ham sandwich and a bowl of soup ready for me when I got home for lunch.

He took them swimming at the pool there then they did some shopping at Walmart to pick up a few things.
The girls love hanging out with Papa - he is a lot of fun.

Since Jason took the car I walked back to the office after lunch.
It's pretty icy out there and I had to go on the highway which was a bit scary - normally I can move over into the ditch when a car is coming and with all the snow, I can't do that right now.

So I had considered walking back home but got Bonnie to drive me instead.
I am looking forward to the snow being gone though so I can start walking to work and back again.

When I got home, I got back to work on undecorating.
I got everything down and some of it packed up.
The rest is all consolidated to the dining room table and I will hopefully get it finished up tomorrow night.

I just needed a few more steps to get to my goal so I hopped on the treadmill around 9 pm.

It only took me 15 minutes to get what I needed.

I'm doing great with my steps, but I still have to work on being consistent with tracking points on the WW app.

I start off good in the mornings but then it falls apart after lunch and supper.

I know if I want to make progress, I have to be really diligent about tracking so I will try again tomorrow.

That's all for today, until next time, be happy.
