Eden had a really rough night.
She woke up so many times coughing and hacking so much that it would make start gagging and vomiting and each time should would cry that she wanted her potty.
Kody had brought it over tonight for us because she'd been wanting it then too.
She always went and hid somewhere when she had to have a poop but lately she doesn't even want anyone to look at her and gets angry when they do - tonight she even started crying about it and saying she wanted her potty.
I tried putting her on the toilet but she didn't want that so that's when I got Kody to bring over the potty.
She was so happy and sat on it immediately - still with her diaper on and everything but it's a start to the potty training.
Then through the night when she needed to vomit, she would sit at the potty instead of the toilet which was much more comfortable for her.
So I had originally wanted to leave for the city at 9 this morning.
I was going to drop Eden off to Haylee and pick Freya up but since Eden had had such a rough night, I texted to tell Haylee I'd leave at 10 instead.
She said Freya had had a rough night as well and was also still sleeping.
So I said to just text me when she woke up.
It was after 11 when Eden finally woke up - so much for my early start.
I didn't mind though, I knew the girls needed sleep.
I went over to do the girl switcheroo but Eden refused to get out of the car, said she was coming with me.
So I let her, picked up Freya and it was just after 12 when we finally left town.
When we got to Jen's, Eden immediately started asking for her potty.
I had planned on getting one for our place this weekend anyway so Eden, Freya and I headed in to St Albert to find a potty.
We found one at London Drugs then I drove into Jersey Mike's to get a sub for supper.
It was close to 7 by the time we made it back to Jen's.
I had planned to come in this weekend to help my sister do some things around the house but the only thing we managed to do was to hang up a tire rack she'd gotten to store her extra set of tires in the garage.
I really needed steps so I was going to go to the gym but the girls didn't want me to leave.
So next I thought I would maybe go for a walk - Freya was going to come with me then last minute, Eden decided she wanted to come too.
It was icy out and I had to carry Eden most of the way so we didn't get too far.
I was kind of resigned to the fact that I might miss my step goal already just 10 days in because I was still pretty far from my goal.
I just started walking around Jen's kitchen and on the spot then she brought this stepper thing up from the basement that she had and I tried to use that too.
It was hard and of course the girls wanted to try it too.
I'd get on for a minute or two then Eden would say 'my turn' then I'd have to let her get on but I was making headway and was past the 10,000 step mark.
So from there, it gave me the incentive to just keep going.
Freya was making videos and taking selfies while I walked.
She started asking to go to bed because the sickness was starting to kick in - I had to delay it a bit so I could finish getting in the rest of my steps but I did it and I was so happy that I did.
Jen let the girls and I sleep in her bed.
I put them in bed and went to brush my teeth and stuff.
While I was doing that, Eden found a bottle of water on the night stand and when I came out of the bathroom, she'd opened it and was pouring herself a drink into the cap.
Of course it overflowed immediate so she basically poured about a half a bottle of water onto the bed before I got to her and took the bottle.
What a little destructo she is - that's my little nickname for her.
No biggie - I got a towel onto the bed to soak up the water and it was right in the middle where I was sleeping so at least the girls wouldn't be disturbed.
Proud of this accomplishment today since it almost didn't happen.
