Weigh In Wake Up Call (Dec.30, 2024)

It's Monday which means weigh in day.

I didn't weigh in last week because I didn't want to face the music but I had to do it today.

 

I was 230.4 lbs

It was worse than I expected.

That's up 8 lbs since last weigh in.

Not where I wanted to be at the end of 2024 but it is what it is.

I am going to start following WW again starting Jan.1 and get back to running.

I'm always going to work in some weight lifting and stretching.

I know I can be successful - just got to get after it.

All three kitties were waiting outside the bedroom door when we got up this morning.

Hunter is supposed to be going to visit with his buddy Leland today so he was asking when he could go as soon as he woke up.

He was playing a video game online with his friend Harlow who is Ella's sister and he said Freya was there so she did get to have her sleepover after all.

That made me happy.

Leland was out of town and only getting back today around 6 so we made a plan for Hunter to go over to Rob's and play video games, Rob was just at work this morning so said he'd come pick him up on his way home.

I took Hunter with me to run some errands, dropping off garbage, getting a few groceries, I picked up my stuff from the Hardware - I'm giving up the booth - I just don't have the time to make stuff and keep it stocked up.

Then I took him for an ice cream - he's had one every day since he's been here so far.

Rob showed up just after we got home and took Hunter over to his place until Leland's mom let us know at 6:30 that he was home.

So I picked up Hunter and took him over there.

When Leland came out he squealed excitedly and ran over and embraced Hunter and it was so sweet.

Hunter is going to spend the night there so I'll have a quiet evening.

I spent the afternoon doing another puzzle and I also did some more blogging today.

I'm almost caught up and it feels great.

Magical Time Warp (Dec.29, 2024)

 Freya wanted to give me a make over this morning.

She did my hair and make up then she even picked out an outfit for me to wear.

She even did my nails - I got the full meal deal.

Hunter was bored and wanted to go to the store for an ice cream so I promised him we could go.

Me and my girl.

She is supposed to go have a sleepover at her friend Ella's house tonight so she was asking about that all day.

Haylee and Faith were making the plan so we had to wait - Freya isn't always the most patient though.

She kept us entertained dancing and doing poses.

I had to take pictures of all of her poses and then send them to Jason.

She's such a goof but my good, do I love her.

Haylee was over visiting Sara and the kiddos so I ended up taking her there.

She was excited about seeing Dakota and Capri.

Then I took Hunter to Rob's and he spent the afternoon there playing video games with Rob.

So I did some blogging then I took a break from that and I did another puzzle.

I picked them up second hand and it had 3 pieces missing which was kind of a bummer, oh well.

Jason made pizza for the guys for supper and he brought some home for me to have for supper.

These two snuggled for a couple hours today.

Rob brought Hunter back later in the evening and so he and I hung out.

My cousin Tricia made this blanket for Mom for Christmas - Jen sent me a picture.

I think she likes it.

Yup - I've been over indulging but starting Jan.1, it will be back to Weight Watchers and working out.

So true.

This time between Christmas and New Years always feels like this.

It's kind of like being in a magical time warp - it feels like you have forever then one day its suddenly all over.

Second Christmas (Dec.28, 2024)

 I got up when Jason was leaving for work and got busy working on my blog.

My plan is to get it caught up over this Christmas Break.

I did manage to get a lot done before the kiddos got up.

When they did get up, Freya wanted to do my makeup so I let her.

She said she was making me into the girl from Wicked.

Then she decided I'd be half and half, Glinda the Good Witch and Elphaba.

I like the little swirls she added.

She's so creative.

We had a hard time getting Hunter off of that tablet.

But we did manage to eventually.

Kody went to the dump so he brought Eden over and we all hung out.

In the afternoon, I ended up taking Hunter to his buddy Foster's for a bit and I went to the store to pick up some pepperoni for Jason.

While we were there we ran into Freya's little friend Ella who invited her over for a visit so I dropped her off there and Alivia and I had a quiet afternoon.

I decided to take a break from blogging and pulled out a puzzle to work on.

It was a 500 piece and it took me a couple hours but I did it.

I went and picked up the kids at supper time then after supper, Rob, Kody, Eden, Morgan, Kalem and Whitney came over. (Haylee was working).

I wanted everyone to be there when the kids opened their presents to make it as much like Christmas Day as I could.

The kids brought presents too.

They brought this cute little hat for Whitney - I think she likes it.

Won't be long until Whitney is running around just like Eden.

Hunter got a flying disc thing so he and the boys were testing it out.

Hunter was stoked to get a chance to hold his little niece.

It was a nice evening, kind of like a second Christmas.

Then Alivia headed out to spend the night at a friends - Rob took her on his way home.

Jason ended up having issues out in the field so he didn't get home until everyone was leaving.

Hunter wanted to sleep at the foot of our bed again and Freya started out there with him but did end up in with us before she fell asleep.

Hunter and Alivia Come For a Visit (Dec.27, 2024)

 Alivia and Hunter arrived to town last night.

They stayed at their Grandfathers but the plan was for Hunter to come over to my place today and Freya has been asking when he's going to get here since last night.

She is so excited - she's missed him so much.

I did have to run down to the office again this morning to finish off payroll.

They finally dropped him off around 2 pm and they were so happy to see each other.

It was sweet.

Hunter wanted an ice cream and he wanted to walk to the store so down we went.

Freya got more on her face then in her mouth.

So sweet to be together again.

Rob came over for a visit and we had a game of Headbanz

We only played a couple rounds but the kids enjoyed it.

When Jason got home Hunter ran over and gave him a great big hug,

He's such a sensitive little guy.

Alivia ended up calling after Rob went home and asked if she could come spend the night too.

She slept in Mom's room and I thought Hunter would stay in the spare bedroom but he still wanted to sleep in with us so we made a bed for him at the bottom of our bed with the couch cushions.

Freya wanted to sleep down there with him.

She normally ends up in bed with us but not tonight, she stayed with him the whole night.
