I had wanted to head to Barrhead so I could get to Emerg early but now that we are taking the girls with us, the timeline of everything has changed somewhat.
The girls looked so sweet sleeping.
We didn't want to wake them up so we let them sleep in a little.
We woke them up around 9ish then it was around 10 when we finally headed to Barrhead.
Jason dropped me off at the Emergency department and he and the girls went off to find something to do while they waited.
I thought it was going to take me a long time at the Emergency department because it seemed quite busy when we got there.
It was surprisingly quick though.
They got me back for an x-ray right away then a fourth doctor, a woman this time, saw me almost right away.
She said that my wrist was still healing but that I didn't have to wear the splint anymore and that I could go ahead and start physical therapy but that I just had to go slowly.
Yay!!!
I'm making progress.
Jason took the girls over to the dollar store.
Eden insisted on wearing princess shoes today which happen to be Freya's and like 6 sizes to big but she didn't care.
They found these cute hats.
Awww.
It looked so cute on her.
The ladybug one was the winner - Jason bought it.
Crawling around like a bug.
Dancing bee.
What a cute little puppy.
I walked over and met them there when I finished up at the doctor.
I was in and out in 40 minutes - fastest time yet.
She got a treat at the dollar store.
Eden figured out how to take a selfie.
I wanted dumplings and Freya wanted chinese food so we found a place in St Albert to go to.
Eden helped herself to Jason's Diet Coke.
Freya and I.
Jason's noodle dish.
The food wasn't very good at all - I ordered the pot stickers and some pork dumplings and I couldn't even eat them.
From there we headed over to our hotel room to check in and took the girls swimming.
We finally convinced Eden to wear the swim vest we got for her.
She didn't like getting thrown into the air as much as Freya used to.
He took her down the slide and they came out so fast that they went right under.
They popped back up immediately but it frightened Eden and she was crying and Freya got upset with Jason.
Told him he was never allowed to take her down the slide ever again.
Kind of sweet how she was taking care of her sister.
They came and joined me in the hot tub.
Eden didn't want to get in at first because - she said it was hot but it wasn't actually that hot so we managed to convince her.
Watching sissy go down the slide.
Doing a dance for us.
It was entertaining to Eden.
Because the hot tub wasn't that hot, we were able to stay in it for quite a long time.
Miss Freya.
Pool time.
Jen came and met us at the hotel - Jason and I are going to a show tonight so she was going to watch the girls for us.
I got Jason tickets to Hollywood Rocks with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra.
We were in the front row of the balcony - they were actually really good seats.
It was a great show - there were two singers, a woman and a man, and they sang different songs that were either from movies or shows or just in pop culture or whatever.
They were really good singers.
The orchestra did a few numbers by themselves too - they did a medley of Beatles songs - I loved the arrangement.
Afterwards, we went for a walk around the Winspear Center - we had parked in the underground parking and we knew it was going to be backed up getting out of there so we just wanted to give it some time for it to clear up.
Drag Fest happened to be going on.
So we watched a couple of performances.
Take a risk.
The parking garage was confusing and it took us a minute to figure out where we'd parked.
There was still some congestion but it didn't take too long to get out of there.
When we got back to the hotel, Kody and Haylee were there - they had come in to look at vehicles.
Kody found himself a truck - he did all the paper work - he's going back tomorrow to pick it up.
They were spending the night at Jen's so they headed there with Jen.
Eden wanted to go with them so it was just Jason, Freya and I at the hotel.
Got all of my steps in.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
