Puzzle Mania and Feeling Better (May 3, 2025)

 I had a much better sleep last night but then woke up this morning at 5:30 and so did Freya.

We got up and visited with Jason for a while before he left for work.

Freya still wasn't feeling the best this morning.

I convinced her to have another Pepto Bismal pill - she hated how they tasted but must have been feeling really awful because she agreed to take one.

It helped because before long, she fell back to sleep on the couch.

I didn't want to go too far from her because I knew she'd be upset if she woke up and I was gone so I decided to do a puzzle.

I got this one at the second hand store for a buck - it said right on the box that there is a piece missing but it was such a pretty, colorful image that I decided that I didn't care and got it anyway.

It had nice large pieces with a really glossy finish and it was a lot of fun to do.

It took me a couple of hours to do.

Kody had to run to Whitecourt so he brought Eden over for a bit.

Freya was up and feeling better and they wanted to have a bath so I let them get in there and play.

 I picked up some outfits for Eden at the second hand store last time I was there.

I used to love Strawberry Shortcake when I was little so I scooped this shirt up as soon as I saw it.

She loves the song Anxiety by Doechii.

When it comes on she immediately stops whatever she is doing and starts her little fingers going and she even kind of lip syncs to it.

I've been trying to catch her doing it on video and I finally captured it today.

After Kody took her home, I really needed some steps - Freya was still here and still wasn't feeling 100% so I couldn't go out for a run.

Instead I went down and got on the treadmill.

I just walked and Freya sat down there with me and had some snacks.

She was getting bored though so after 36 minutes I called it quits.

I'll finish up the rest of my steps when Jason gets home from work.

We got the projector working in the bedroom for her last night and she wanted to go in there again, watch videos and eat snacks so that's what we did until Jason got home.

When he did get home, she was feeling much better and wanted him to take her to the park.

So they went off to the park and I decided to start another puzzle.

I ordered this 500 piece on online and it looked fun so I got started on it.

I did walk down to the park to meet Jason and Freya just so I could get the rest of my steps in.

It wasn't nearly as nice out today as it was yesterday unfortunately.

As is my MO - I couldn't do anything else back at the house and sat and finished the puzzle.

When I finished, Jason went to bed and Freya and I watched some tv and did some snuggling before we went to bed as well.

Thankfully she seems to be feeling much better.
