Finally we are starting to get some nice weather and I'm all about it.
I'm trying to get back into going for my walks in the morning and since it was so lovely out today, I made sure I got out there to enjoy it a bit.
Walked to the town turn off and back.
At lunch time I hopped on the treadmill.
I had wanted to do 5k again but I had a meeting at 1 pm that I didn't want to be late for so I stayed on for as long as I thought I could without being late back to the office.
It was still a great workout even if it was just shy of 5k and I did make it back to the office in time for my meeting.
My sister called to tell me that there is a very good chance she's going to be posted to Edmonton this summer and I'm so excited, so is she.
My nephew aren't as thrilled and I get it, moving is a big change and scary.
I hope that if they do come that they like it.
I'm looking forward to being able to see them more often.
Mom is super excited too.
Guess we'll see what happens.
Freya had a dance competition in the city tonight so I called to wish her luck.
I would have liked to go watch but it's over a 2 hour drive and I would have had to turn around and come right back tonight - that's alot of driving for a couple minutes.
Crystal and Haylee were both there and Rita drove in to watch too so she had lots of support.
Their team ended up getting gold.
So awesome.
Zepplyn danced her duet and they got third place and a silver medal which was also wonderful.
They look pretty happy and proud of themselves as they should be.
It was so nice outside that after work, I wanted to get back out there and bask in it.
Decided to get my bike out and go for a ride.
I ordered this phone holder for my bike and it arrived pretty quickly.
It was easy to put on and it worked really well.
Jason and I went for a 5k bike ride together.
I asked him to get a picture of my new phone carrier so he was trying to do that while we were riding along and it was kind of tough but he did it.
He went out for another 5k but I felt like I'd done enough for one night.
I think I'm going to start taking my bike out every night that the weather is nice and try to bike up the campsite road here in town that is all uphill.
I think it will be a good workout and it get me used to going up hills which is still very tough for me on a bike.
I had a wrap for supper and some hummus and crackers which ended up being 9 points just on its own (I should have checked out the points on them before I ate them instead of after).
So I went over my points today even though I don't really feel like I ate that much.
It really opens your eyes when you track it how many points are actually in things and how easy it is to over consume.
I feel good about all the activity I got in today though and I don't feel bad about what I ate.
It's just an observation and something to keep in mind going forward.
Check the points before the food goes in my mouth - I might still choose to eat it anyway but I also might choose to eat something else instead next time.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
