When Hunter sleeps over, we make a little bed for him with the couch cushions at the foot of our bed.
I did offer to have Jason sleep in the spare room so Hunter, Freya and I could sleep in our bed but the kids didn't want that, they wanted Jason to be part of the sleep over too so we made Hunter his little nest.
I think it's actually quite cozy for him.
He's such a sweet, sensitive soul - I'm really going to miss my buddy so much when he moves.
The kids were tuckered out this morning - they both had a really good sleep in.
I worked on my craft this morning, trying to figure out the placement of the pumpkins but that's about as far as I got.
Haylee and her mom, her grandma and a couple of her aunts were all planning on going to Rotary Park in Whitecourt today so I took Hunter and Freya there to meet them all.
Eden and her Auntie Zepp in her shade tent.
My sweet girlie and moi.
The kids played on the water slides for quite some time - I went and sat in the water at the bottom so I could watch them and stay cool at the same time.
Then they all went to bounce on the giant bouncing pillow for a bit.
Hunter just loving every minute of it.
I love how he always smiles so big for pictures.
Freya getting some good air.
Her ponytail was just flying straight up in the air.
She stopped for a few minutes to make a quick sand castle.
The kids all having a little pow wow.
Followed by more jumping.
Looks like she's about to fly right over Hunter.
Then Eric led the way back over to the water slides after they'd had their fill of bouncing.
Miss Eden just tanning up her chunky little legs.
Feeding mom a snack.
It was really a gorgeous day at the park.
After the park, I took Freya and Hunter shopping.
I bought Freya an outfit for school and some shoes and got her and Hunter both new book bags for school and I let them each pick out a toy.
Then we went to McDonald's for supper.
I really enjoyed my day with the kiddos.
That's all for today, until next time, be happy!
