I was up early this morning as usual and had some me time to enjoy my coffee and watch a couple vlogs before everyone else got up.
Jason picked up this sunflower/cranberry bread because it was on sale and it is delicious!
Jason is making pulled pork for supper - we were planning on having everyone over for Kody's birthday supper tonight.
It was a gorgeous day so we took the girls for a walk.
She's picking up how to ride her scooter pretty quickly.
Crystal got it for her at a yard sale along with the little princess helmet.
It was lemonade stand day so we hit up the stands in town - there were only two this year.
Eden was having a blast at the park.
It was such a nice day and we don't get that many so we decided to postpone supper until tomorrow night and just let the girls play at the park and enjoy the sunshine instead of hurrying home to clean and prepare supper.

Back at the house, we sat on the swing and had popsicles.
Eden prepared this one for Jason - it looks like it is covered in chocolate but it's actually dirt 😂😂
The girls actually went home for the night.
Freya wanted to have her friend Eliza spend the night and they wanted to play on Freya's Oculus.
Woke up to another rainy day - it has been raining all week long here.
Today is Jason's Friday off and Freya wanted him to take her to school, so he walked down this morning, picked her up and they walked to school together.
She was all ready to go when he got there.
He said they had a really nice walk - they got to have some good one on one conversation and she was in a really good mood.
I hopped on the treadmill on my lunch hour.
I just walked but got some steps in and it felt good.
Haylee had dropped Eden off because she had some things to go.
Eden didn't want her mom to leave so she was crying and Papa was the only one that could console her.

After work we decided to take the girls to Whitecourt to go swimming.
We allowed Freya to bring her friend Theia along, the girls were all really excited.
I got to be the passenger princess for the trip.
Swimming was fun - We were in the pool for about an hour and a half then the girls played at the indoor park in the Allen Jean Millar Center afterwards for a bit.
We went to Boston Pizza for supper - Freya just loves it there for whatever reason.
She reminded Jason that he wasn't actually 'allergic' to it like he'd claimed (she will never forget that) so we had to go.
Their bellies were soooo full.
Eden was so excited to get dirt & worms for desert.
She kept dipping the worms in and out and eating off all of the chocolate.

It was late when we got back to town so we dropped Theia off to her place.
Eden got all settled in the bathroom - she had her phone and she looked pretty comfy!
We had to go to another meeting today, this time at Hazelbluff near Westlock.
Once a year, the VP's and the managers head out and do a meeting at all the districts just to go over the 4 pillars, safety, production and just other general things.
Bonnie, Shennelle and I drove together - I did the driving.
It's nice to see some of the people that we work with that we don't get to see any other time throughout the year.
It started off with lunch which was beef, buns, cole slaw and potato salad.
There were also cut up veggies and fruit.
The salads were really good.
The meeting started at 1 and ran for a few hours.
They did a 50/50 raffle for some charities that we support - they do this every year.
The winner took home 995.00 (not too shabby) and it was one of the guys from our office that won, Murray Butler!
We already call him Big Bucks Murray so of course you know he's going to be teased mercilessly about this win.
It was around 4 pm when we got back to the office, normally we'd head into Westlock or even St. Albert afterwards to do some shopping but none of us felt like it this year.
The weather has been cold and dreary and wet so it's been kind of a downer.
I think it's contributing to me feeling so tired all of the time recently.
I didn't really feel like it but I made myself go out for a walk after I got home.
It was raining lightly but I was still pretty wet when I got back home but I felt good that I made myself do it.
I had some kale salad for supper.
I kind of had the munchies so tried to keep busy to keep myself out of the food.
It worked for the most part.
I was feeling really tired and was falling asleep on the couch so at 9 pm I pulled the plug and headed to bed.
It didn't take me long to fall asleep either.
Didn't reach my step count again today.
That's ok though - some steps are better than none.
There was an AP meeting in the St Albert office today and I was driving Shennelle in and I was just going to work there for the day.
We had to be there for 8:30 so I picked her up at 6:15 am and we were off.
I dropped her off at the office then took my car to the Kia dealer - there are a couple of recalls on my car that need to be taken care of.
They ubered me over to the St Albert office and I worked there in an office.
I joined the AP ladies for lunch - they had lunch brought in.
Not long after, Kia called to say that my car was ready.
The got me an uber to go back and get the car - when I got there, they said they could only do one of the recalls because they didn't have a tool to do the other one, they said I'd need to come back in a few weeks.
I was kind of annoyed because I've talked to them many times about these recalls, how did they not know before now that they didn't have the tool?
I would have waited and brought it in when the tool was ready instead of making another trip.
The AP meeting went kind of late, it was around 3 pm when Shennelle and I left.
We stopped at Walmart for a few things - I mainly wanted coffee foam - I've been having a hard time finding it and I just love it.
They had some so I picked up 4.
It was around 6 when we got back to Swan Hills.
I felt exhausted for some reason.
I laid on the couch and had a short nap - it likely would have lasted longer but Kody called to say that Freya was asking to come over so he brought the girls over.
When they came in, Eden went right over to Jason on the couch, got up beside him and she had this sad little look on her face.
She proceeds to tell him in this sad, little voice 'Papa, you know hit me anymore!'
Then she snuggled right into him like she was saying she forgives him, she loves him, but he really hurt her feelings and she doesn't want him to do it ever again.
It was so precious.
Jason felt so bad - he didn't really hit her but he did get after her and she totally remembered and it was still on her mind.
He apologized and hugged her close then he took her for a little walk, just her and him.
They picked dandelions.
He showed her how to make a wish and blow the seeds off of them.
Make a wish!
Then they did that over and over and over.
It's hard to blow them and not accidentally suck all the seeds into your mouth.
She thought it was great fun.
Another one.
I remember doing this with Freya when she was itty bitty.
She's so excited.
Big breath.
And blow!
They went for a walk in the trails behind the trailers across the road.
She was calling it the jungle.
When they got back - all was right in the world between them again.
They hung out until around 9 then Kody came and picked them back up.
I stayed up until 11 playing Color Block Jam on my tablet - I'm totally an addict!
I was careful about tracking my points this week so I was actually looking forward to weighing in this week.
I was 241.8 lbs.
That's 3.6 lbs down since last week.
That felt good!

Things were a little busier with having to get the girls up and ready too.
I hate waking them up so early but I had to and with the help of Puppy Gorilla (Jason's alter ego who grunts at the girls, dances to music and just generally makes getting up fun), everyone was up and happy and ready to go in no time.
I dropped them off to Kody and headed on to work.
I finished up The Spoon Stealer this morning.
It was a good, homey book. I really liked it a lot!
I picked a new book to start, Theo of Golden.
This was recommended by a few book reviewers on Instagram so I thought I would give it a try.
I don't normally gravitate toward male narrator's but I'm liking this one so far.
Freya was doing science projects at school today - the school posted some pictures.
She loves doing this kind of thing.
I went for a walk after work.
It wasn't the nicest weather but it was an opportunity to listen to my new book.
I was expecting visitors tonight but didn't get any so it was just a quiet evening with Jason and I.
