Today was my last hurrah as far as food goes so I tried to get in all the snacks that I wanted.
Starting tomorrow I'm going back to healthier eating and I'm also going to get back to being more active.
I was considering making my daily step goal for 2025 15,000 steps per day but that's pretty tough so I've decided to do 12,000 instead.
There's nothing to stop my doing more each day but I want it to be achievable - if I make it too tough and I miss a day, that just makes it easier to miss another and another.
Not too much going on here today.
I was by myself most of the day.
I did another puzzle - I got three completed over the holidays - I timed myself today and to do a 500 piece puzzle, it took me 4 hours.
Likely not the best use of my time but I do really enjoy it!
Kody and Haylee are going out tonight so I am having the girls for the night.
He stayed and visited for a bit when he dropped them off.
We had an early night, I think we went to bed by 10:30 party animals that we are.
I always like to reflect on the year and look forward to the fresh start of the new year.
I'm thankful for the traveling we got to do this year - I always love that.
We were able to go to some new places we've never been before like Tennessee, Vernon, BC and Northern Minnesota.
Then we also got to go back to some places we've been lots and love, like Las Vegas.
I didn't make much progress on paying off debt - I did really good last year and then this year it's kind of just stayed the same.
And then the final thing that I wanted to do was get back under 200 lbs.
That did not happen, instead I'm up from where I was at the beginning of last year so that is disappointing.
I'm not going to dwell on it though.
Just going to pick myself up, dust myself off and do better next year.

This is also the time that I make goals for myself for the new year.
Just a couple this year and they are pretty much the same as always.
1. Get back under 200 lbs
2. Walk 12,000 steps at least each day
3. Get the remainder of my debt paid off
4. Travel to some new places
5. Organize and Declutter my house - really go through things and get rid of stuff that I don't need.
That's it really.
Of course I'll have smaller goals here and there throughout the year but these are the main ones.
